At Sheffield City Trust we are focused on providing safe and inclusive leisure services with fantastic customer service to match our world class facilities and our Leisure Assistant role is key in helping us achieve that goal on a daily basis.
Essentially a Lifeguard role in our pool venues, they ensure effective monitoring and supervision of swimmers of all ages and abilities from early learners to experienced and club swimmers.
Our leisure venues also host an amazingly diverse programme of events from UK and World Championships in swimming, diving, judo, athletics and snooker, and more to large conferences, dinner dances and weddings to regular community events held by local groups in and around our city. By supporting venues with events set up and set down, Leisure Assistants play a vital role in ensuring each and every event is delivered to the same high standards, regardless of the size and scale.
For the role we require the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification

A First Aid Qualification is also desirable although not essential for the role.
