Membership and Pricing

Q. Will my current membership automatically transfer to the new company, or do I need to re-register?

A. Yes, your membership will automatically transfer to the new operator. If you are a direct debit member, please do not cancel your direct debit, this will automatically transfer to Everyone Active. Everyone Active will be contacting all members in November with further information regarding their direct debit.

Q. Will the price of my membership change under the new management?

A. The price of your membership will remain the same as your membership is transferred to Everyone Active. Any changes post transfer will be the decision of the new operator and communicated to you by them.

Q. Will there be any new membership plans or options offered by the new company?

A. Any new membership plans or options will be communicated and advertised by the new Operator.

Q. What will happen to pre-paid memberships or annual memberships?

A. Your membership and remaining length of your membership will be transferred to Everyone Active.

Q. Will my next direct debit be reduced due to the extended Christmas closure?

A. The upcoming planned closure over the Christmas period, which will help ensure a smooth transition to our new operator as they prepare to open on 2nd January.

During this time, your membership fees will remain at the regular monthly rate, and no reductions to your direct debit will be applied. This decision allows us to support a seamless changeover and ensure the best experience possible when the venues in the new year.

Q. My membership is currently frozen. Will this automatically continue with Everyone Active?

A. If your membership is currently frozen, this will automatically continue with the new operator. When you wish to unfreeze your membership, you should contact them direct after 2nd January.

Service Changes

Q. Will there be any restrictions or limitations during the transition period?

A. To prepare for reopening under Everyone Active, some venues will close from 24th December and reopen on 2nd January:

  • Ponds Forge, Hillsborough Leisure Centre, Concord Sports Centre, Springs Leisure Centre, Heeley Pool and Gym, and EIS Sheffield: Closed from 24th December to 2nd January .
  • Golf Courses (Beauchief, Tinsley, and Birley Wood): Closed on 25th December, reopening with reduced hours from 26th - 31st December.
  • iceSheffield: Closed from 25th - 26th December, reopening with reduced hours from 27th - 31st December.

All venues will reopen on 2nd January 2025.

Facilities and Timetables

Q. Will the current operating hours and timetables remain the same?

A. As far as we are aware there are no planned changes to timetables and opening times. If any changes are to be made these will be communicated by the new operator post transfer.

Q. Will the spa area reopen?

A. We are unaware at this stage whether the spa areas will be reopening.

Booking and Payment Processes

Q. Will I still be able to use the same booking system, or will there be a new app or website?

A.  An alternative booking system will be in place, aswell as a change in website and App.

Q, How will existing bookings for classes, court time, or tee times be managed?

A. This information will be communicated closer to the date of transfer.
